Database Dialect Differences
Different databases have variations in identifier quoting, data types, and auto-increment syntax. This tool automatically generates the appropriate SQL syntax based on your selected database type:

Yes. The generated SQL follows standard SQL syntax and is adapted for each specific database (identifier quoting, data types, auto-increment syntax, etc.). We recommend previewing the SQL content before execution to verify table and column names. Column types in CREATE TABLE statements are auto-inferred and may need minor adjustments based on your actual requirements.
The tool scans all data in each column of your Excel file and automatically infers the most appropriate SQL data type. Pure numbers map to numeric types, date formats to date types, true/false to boolean types, and everything else to text types. We recommend reviewing key column type definitions after generation.
In the default merge mode, all sheets are converted sequentially into a single SQL file. To convert only the first sheet, select "First sheet only" mode. For multi-sheet files, consider uploading sheets separately to set different table names for each.
Batched INSERT statements (e.g., 50 rows per batch) are significantly more efficient than individual INSERTs, greatly reducing database round-trips. Choose batch size based on your data volume: single-row inserts for small datasets (easier to debug), and 50-500 rows per batch for large datasets (faster import speed).
Regular-sized Excel files are supported. For very large files, consider removing irrelevant data before conversion. The exact limits follow your membership benefits; the free quota already covers daily use.
