About This Tool
Mind Map is a completely free online mind map generator. Without installing any software, you can turn a Markdown outline into a beautiful interactive mind map with one click. It comes with templates such as reading notes, meeting notes and learning paths, supports live rendering and SVG/PNG export, and everything runs locally in your browser for privacy and security.
How to Use
- Choose a template
Pick a template such as Basic Example, Reading Notes or Meeting Notes from the dropdown to get a sample outline instantly.
- Edit the outline
Write or edit the Markdown outline on the left: # headings become nodes, ## sub-headings become branches and - list items become leaves.
- Live render
The mind map is generated automatically on the right as you type. Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, and click nodes to collapse or expand them.
- Export and share
Click SVG / PNG to export the image, and check Transparent Background for a transparent PNG.
- Copy source
Click Copy to copy the Markdown source for saving or sharing on other platforms.
